Charleston-based Buffalo Groupe has launched Private Club Studios, a dedicated marketing platform built exclusively for the private club industry. The new division consolidates video production, branding, research, lead generation and strategic communications under a single integrated structure.

The offering builds on Buffalo Groupe’s 2025 acquisition of Private Club Films, a specialized video production agency serving nearly 50 private club clients across North America. Previously a division of Oswego Creative, Private Club Films will now operate as the video production arm within the broader Private Club Studios framework.

Private Club Studios is structured to support multiple phases of club operations, including grand openings, membership growth initiatives, renovations, major events and leadership transitions. According to Emily Clark, President and Chief Marketing Officer of Buffalo Groupe, the platform delivers tailored combinations of storytelling, branding and marketing aligned with specific stages in a club’s lifecycle.

Buffalo Groupe operates within the ClubWorks ecosystem, a professional services holding company focused on private club, leisure and hospitality sectors. Established by Tidewater and Palm Beach Capital, ClubWorks oversees a network of firms providing architecture, interior design, engineering, consulting and marketing services to the golf and hospitality industries.

Through this structure, Private Club Studios connects to partner firms including Peacock + Lewis Architects and Planners, JBD JGA Design and Architecture, Visionary Spectacle Studios, GGA Partners, ClubWorks Engineering and Kuo Diedrich Chi Architects. The model enables coordinated project delivery spanning master planning, design and marketing execution.

Buffalo Groupe merged with ClubWorks in June 2024. Its investor base includes Major League Baseball All-Star Mike Trout, Symphony Ventures and Versant Media Group, formerly NBCUniversal.

Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, Buffalo Groupe employs 85 staff across data research, digital services, web development, creative production, events and public relations. The firm operates a multi-division structure comprising a full-service marketing agency, a research unit, an events division and a media property serving golf, outdoor sport, travel, hospitality and real estate sectors.

Private Club Films brings more than two decades of cinematic storytelling experience for private clubs. Its integration into Private Club Studios reflects a broader strategy to deliver end-to-end marketing services within a market historically served by fragmented vendors.

The launch comes amid continued consolidation across specialized B2B service sectors, as clients increasingly favor integrated platforms over multi-vendor arrangements. For private clubs navigating membership recruitment, retention and brand differentiation, bundled strategic and execution capabilities present an alternative to traditional agency models.

Positioning marketing alongside architectural, planning and consulting services, the ClubWorks platform creates potential for coordinated development and operational strategy. The integration signals Buffalo Groupe’s continued focus on sector specialization and lifecycle-based service delivery within the private club market.
